When is the best time to take newborn photos?

These sessions ideally take place when baby is under 3 weeks old. The reason we do it so early is because your little one is still so sleepy and curly. Photographing them during this sleepy phase allows me to wrap them up and posed them with ease, which in turn keeps our session flowing smoothly.

Where does this session take place?

All my newborn studio sessions take place in my home. I have everything set up right when you walk in, all ready to go. I'm located in the Cathedral area in Regina. There is ample parking out front. Once you are in, take a load off and I'll take it from there.

When Should I book a studio newborn session?

Clients tend to book these sessions when they are in their first or second trimester, but truly it can be anytime. I reserve some time around your due date, then when baby arrives, we pick an appropriate date and time to have your session.

Booking in advance helps ensure that I'm able to photograph your little one when they arrive. But its okay if you decide last min you want photos, send me a message and I will do my best to squeeze you in.

What Should I wear for family photos

For studio family photos with your new little bundle, I find that soft light colors tend to photograph really well. They help keep the focus on baby.

Family members and siblings are asked to come towards the end of the session.
