When to schedule your newborn session

Clients typically book when they are in the first to second trimester. I reserve dates around your due date and when baby arrives, we choose the best date for you. That can be the day baby comes home from the hospital, to a few weeks later when you and baby have gotten into a rhythm.

Where do we take photos

In-home newborn sessions are like it says, in the comfort of your own home. No need to pack up and venture out, I'll come to you. This style of session is laid back and not posed. I'll document organic interactions and the natural bond between you and your little one.

I will send some information after your booking on how to prepare your home.

Can We have extended family come?

Yes of course! The beautiful thing about this style of session is that we can document it all. From coming home from the hospital to grandma and grandpa coming by to meet your new addition or the look on your sister/brothers face when they finally get to hold them.

What should we wear?

I find that for in-home sessions, light and neutral colors tend to photograph really well. Simple is always better but in the end, whatever makes you feel comfortable. You can dress it up or stay casual. There is no wrong answer here. If you need help, let me know, I'd be more than happy to help.
